On the top of the mountain Hamid becomes life-threatening hurt and Isa finds himself in a dilemma: Should he be a man and abide by his father’s order, or should he get his little brother down from the mountain as soon as he can?

Jedynym pragnieniem 12-letniego Isy jest, by ojciec postrzegał go jako mężczyznę – a mężczyźni nie płaczą. Gdy Isa gubi jedną z owiec, on i jego młodszy brat Hamid muszą być posłuszni ojcu i ją odnaleźć. Lisa has a secret. It will be there, that place somewhere high above where nobody hurts anybody, where everything is beautiful. „That’s where we will live, my family and I”. Liza whispers to herself when she expresses her feelings. The girl regularly runs away from home, away from this world of subalterns which is depicted as so deficient, disgusting and horrible that it feels like more than borderline voyeurism.


Lisa ma sekret. Będzie tam, gdzieś wysoko, w miejscu, gdzie nikt nikogo nie rani, gdzie wszystko jest piękne. „To miejsce, w którym będziemy żyć, moja rodzina i ja”. Lisa szeptem wyraża swoje uczucia. Dziewczynka regularnie ucieka z domu, jak najdalej od świata, który jest tak obrzydliwy i okropny, że nawet nie chce się go już podglądać.
